Licensed to hold civil ceremonies Box End Park can cater for all aspects of your wedding day, from the service itself through to the evening entertainment, with plenty of delicious freshly prepared food and fine wine inbetween.

The Wedding Breakfast

Whether you are looking for a small intimate celebratory meal with close family, or an extravagant feast for all your friends, we can take care of it at Box End Park.

Dining at Box End Park is an event in itself. Combining seasonal ingredients sourced as locally as possible with a touch of flair and tradition, our Head Chef Sean Hazlett and his team of talented chefs will make your taste buds tingle. If you are looking for something extra special we can compile a bespoke menu fully tailored to your ideas and budget. Alternatively if you need some guidance, we have plenty of menu suggestions and experience which may help provide the inspiration you need. We can offer everything from buffets to banquets, fountains to fondants, nothing is too much trouble.

Civil Ceremonies

We are thrilled to be able to offer Box End Park as a venue for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships.

The Maple Suite is licensed for civil ceremonies and can accomodate everything from small groups, to larger gatherings of upto 70 guests attending the service.

All our rooms have disabled access, plenty of natural light and the facility to play music. We will provide a dedicated coordinator, on-hand throughout the proceedings to liaise with the Registration staff, Bride & Groom and to greet your guests.

The Maple Suite

This bright and airy room enjoys superb views over the southern lake. Comfortably seating up to 70 people, the Maple Suite offers a perfect setting for your ceremony. After the ceremony, the room can be opened up and transformed for your reception, featuring state of the art lighting that can be programmed to match your chosen colour scheme, every wedding is truly unique.

*Maximum capacity includes the guests and wedding couple only. Registrar / official personnel / photographer / videographer and venue staff can be in addition to this capacity.

Booking

If you wish to hold your civil ceremony or civil partnership at Box End Park we are permitted to hold a provisional booking until you have booked the Registrar for your chosen date and time. This can only be done 12 months in advance by contacting Bedford Register Office on 0300 300 8089. All arrangements for the ceremony, including readings and music, should be confirmed with the Registrar’s Office. All fees relating to the ceremony itself are payable to the Registrar’s Office and are not included in the price of room hire.
