Club Slalom Competition
Following the success of our 2006 club slalom event, we will be running a repeat of the format for the 2007 competition
This is intended to be a fun event, giving members the chance to have a go at skiing in a friendly competition and most importantly have a laugh.
The event will be made up of 3 rounds of Slalom Skiing, with competitors given 4 guaranteed passes in each round (regardless of a fall)
Scoring:
Skiers best run from each 4 pass round will be recorded and then compared against their registered handicap. The difference between the best score from each round and the skiers handicap will provide skiers adjusted event scores.
Handicaps:
Handicaps will be based on an individual’s best pass (on any water), which has been achieved a minimum of 3 times, in 2007
Registration:
All competitors must have registered by Wednesday 1 August, after which a running order will be posted. The event is set to begin at 10:00
All welcome!
A barbecue will be running throughout the course of the day, with all members encouraged to bring friends and family along to enjoy the atmosphere.
Non members will be considered for entry based on numbers as of the 1 August.
Prizes:
A selection of prizes will be available for the event winners and to recognize significant personal achievements.
Cost:
Entry for the day will be £20 which will include 3 rounds of skiing.
